DATA USE CONDITIONS
Icesi University is responsible for the processing of personal data obtained from holders such as applicants, guardians, students, collaborators, professors, suppliers, among others.
In accordance with Decree 457 of 2020, Resolution 666 of 2020 of the Ministry of Health and Protection, and Decree 990 of 2020 of the National Government, and other concordant or complementary provisions that modify, add, regulate or replace them in response to the emergency current sanitary; Personal data, including sensitive data that the Icesi University requests will be used for the following purposes:
a) Comply with the laws applicable to private education in Colombia, including, but not limited to, any requirement of the Ministry of National Education or local authorities.
b) Comply with the applicable guidelines on biosecurity measures in the framework of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, issued by the Ministry of Health and the Government of Colombia.
c) Obtain information that allows decisions to be made that reduce the risks of contagion and spread of the COVID-19 epidemic at the University.
d) Apply the protocols, procedures and guidelines defined by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the Ministry of Labor for the preparation, response and care of cases of diseases caused by COVID-19, within the framework of the Management System of Safety and Health at Work SG-SST.
e) Monitor the health conditions of students, collaborators, teachers, suppliers, contractors or visitors, in search of the prevention of COVID-19, complying with the measures indicated by the Government of Colombia.
f) The data collected will be used to carry out epidemiological fences. UCCare does not carry out medical diagnoses of Covid-19, it only performs preventive actions and provides assistance in the management of epidemiological fences.
g) Prepare statistical reports on epidemiological and related fences.
h) Share personal data and reports to entities mandated by law.
i) Establish contact with the owner by phone, email and / or through the application, to update symptom data or report new developments in monitoring related to COVID-19.
j) Report the physical address of your device to the University's WiFi infrastructure, clarifying that this physical address will be used by said infrastructure to geolocate the holder's device only within the University's facilities, and to determine sets of contacts that will serve as basis for epidemiological fences, should they occur.
k) Authorize entry to the physical campus of the Icesi University.
l) Watch over the safety, health and welfare of the community.
m) Carry out epidemiological or similar studies, taking into account dissociation procedures.
If sensitive personal data is requested from the owner, the response will be optional, taking into account that such information is necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes described above. In any case, UCCare carries out the treatment and transmission of personal data using security measures.
